Veterans and service members
Veterans Crisis Line: call 988 and press 1, text 838255, or connect through online chat.
LGBTQ+ young people
The Trevor Project offers 24/7 crisis support for LGBTQ+ young people. Call 866-488-7386, text START to 678678, or use chat.
Deaf and hard-of-hearing support
Use 711, then 988, or connect with the 988 Lifeline through its videophone and accessibility options.
Community and practical resources
Call 211 for help locating Oklahoma community resources such as housing, food, transportation, and other local support.
Self-harm support
S.A.F.E. Alternatives support line: call 800-DONT-CUT (800-366-8288). If there is immediate danger, call 911. For crisis support, call or text 988.
Mental health and substance-use referrals
SAMHSA’s National Helpline provides free, confidential treatment information and referrals in English and Spanish, 24 hours a day.
Trans peer support
Trans Lifeline connects trans people with trans peer support. In the United States, call or text 877-565-8860.
LGBTQIA+ peer support
The LGBT National Hotline provides free and confidential peer support for callers of all ages. Hours are limited and listed on its website.
Eating disorder support
NEDA offers eating-disorder screening, treatment-finding tools, support groups, and educational resources. For an immediate crisis, call or text 988.
Sexual abuse and survivor resources
Helping Survivors provides educational information and support-navigation resources for people affected by sexual assault and abuse.
