Acuity Counseling, PLLC is committed to providing a website that is accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Our accessibility goal
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Although we work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, we do not claim that every page or third-party feature is fully conformant at all times.
How we support accessible use
Our accessibility practices include:
- Using semantic page structure and a consistent heading order
- Supporting keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus
- Maintaining readable color contrast and appropriately sized interactive controls
- Providing alternative text for meaningful images
- Providing labels and instructions for form controls
- Supporting reduced-motion preferences
- Designing responsive pages that support zoom and reflow
- Running automated accessibility checks during the website build process
Automated testing cannot identify every accessibility barrier. We also use manual review and continue to evaluate the site as content and technology change.
Third-party services
Some website functions, including appointment scheduling, the client portal, and secure inquiry forms, are provided by third-party services. Those services control the accessibility of their own platforms. If a third-party feature creates a barrier, please contact us so we can help you access the information or service through another reasonable method when possible.
